What are you playing this weekend? – Issue 551

The games are literally coming out of our ears at this point; While it’s generally been a quieter year for new releases, we haven’t had a holiday like this in a while. The next few weeks are crazy.

I’ll be playing through A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead here as a review copy Press Square soon and I plan on playing a lot of it too Fragpunk Beta version on PC to get all exclusive rewards. It’s a truly impressive shooter and I hope it gets announced for PS5 before its full release.

For me this weekend it’s a lot of metaphor: ReFantazio.

I have a few reviews in the pipeline, but other than that I’ve been catching up on my Yakuza games. Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name has captivated me so far, even if it feels like there’s a bit too much space between the main stories.

Aaron put in a pretty impressive time in Astro Bot’s new speedrun level “Building Speed” and I just can’t resist it. I’m not sure I can play anything other than this one level this weekend and shave off the milliseconds.
