Free Music Friday: Jackson Randolph

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Jackson Randolph is a Rockwall native who has been all over the local music scene. Most recently, he has written new music, including his song “Do it for Me,” which he performed at First News at Four.

“We haven’t published it yet. I’ve been in a strange situation lately when it comes to writing, even though I’ve personally never worked through the story of this song. I have had many friends who have dealt with it and know people who have dealt with the issue of knowing people who struggle with alcoholism. So that was kind of the basis of this song,” Randolph explained.

Randolph played a show at The Tap on Friday night, playing new material.

He has a show tonight at The Tap, doors opening at 8pm, where he says he’ll be playing new material.
