Three locations are open for general and special elections

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) – As the first week of early voting comes to a close, you still have a few opportunities to cast your vote over the next two weeks.

With early voting, all registered voters in Macon-Bibb can cast their general and special electoral votes at any of three locations. These include the Theron Ussery Community Center on Wimbish Road, the Elaine Lucas Senior Center in Carolyn Crayton Park, and the main office at the Macon Mall on Eisenhower Parkway – although for the entrance to the Macon-Bibb Board of Elections – you should go through the Mercer entrance Get on University Drive.

Weekday hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tom Gillon of the Macon-Bibb Board of Elections shares the hours you can vote early weekend.

The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is October 25th.

Gillon explained that if you’re still waiting to receive your mail, it’s probably just part of the mailing process.

Absentee ballots can be dropped off in person at the Board of Elections main office.

If you would like to submit your ballot by mail, you must use the pre-addressed envelope provided.
