Jets fans are excited about the first video of the connection between Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams

Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams pick up right where they left off.

This week at practice, the two New York Jets teammates took the field together for the first time since their time with the Green Bay Packers and met for some highlight plays.

One of those Rodgers-to-Adams throws went viral almost immediately when it was posted to the Jets’ social media account on Friday. Rodgers, wearing a red practice jersey, threw to Adams in the end zone. And Adams fought his way through tight coverage and jumped over the defense to trap it.

It almost looks like they’ve done this together once or twice.

Rodgers and Adams played together in Green Bay for eight seasons from 2014-21. During that span, Adams was named All-Pro twice and to the Pro Bowl five times, and Rodgers won three of his four career NFL MVP awards.

Rodgers and Adams are reunited with the Jets following this week’s blockbuster deal and will look to terrorize opposing defenses together once again in the Jets’ prime-time game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday night.
