Regional championships will be decided across the state tonight with just three weeks left in the regular season.

The state’s top games include Austin vs. James Clemens, Central-Florence vs. West Morgan, Hoover vs. Thompson, Clay-Chalkville vs. Oxford, Williamson vs. Vigor and Mary G. Montgomery vs. Baker.

6:00 p.m., special evening in Selma: Morgan Academy will retire Caden Tellier’s No. 17 jersey tonight. Tellier, the team’s quarterback, died Aug. 24 after suffering a severe brain injury during a game against Southern Academy.
