The Electric State: Netflix unveils trailer for film starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt

The Electric State The panel was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated of the first day of New York Comic Con 2024 and it lived up to its promise as Netflix unveiled the first trailer for its event film in the presence of directors Joe and Anthony Russo and the film’s two stars, Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt.

Set in a retro-futuristic version of the ’90s after a robot uprising, here’s the official synopsis The Electric State reads: “Determined to find the beloved sibling she thought she had lost, Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown) sets off with Cosmo across the American Southwest and soon reluctantly teams up with Keats (Chris Pratt), a smuggler with low rents, together with the funny robot sidekick Herman (voiced by Anthony Mackie). As they venture into the Exclusion Zone, a walled corner of the desert where robots now live on their own, Keats and Michelle meet a strange, colorful group of new animatronic allies – and begin to learn the forces behind the disappearance of “Michelle’s brother Christopher is more sinister than they ever expected.”

The cast also includes Ke Huy Quan (Everything everywhere at once), Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), Woody Norman (Poldark), Giancarlo Esposito (breaking Bad) And Stanley Tucci (Hunger Games). Woody Harrelson (Zombieland), Anthony Mackie (avenger), Brian Cox (Consequence), Jenny Slate (Big mouth) And Alan Tudyk (Resident alien) will lend their voices to some characters The Electric State.

You’ll have to be patient to see this five-star cast The Electric State will not be available on Netflix until March 14, 2025. In the meantime, check out the first trailer below.
