Soccer preparation for Vice Night against Sam Houston

MIAMI – FIU head coach Mike MacIntyrealong with junior wide receiver Eric Rivers and junior defender JoJo Evansmet with the media Friday afternoon to preview Vice Night, where the Panthers will host Sam Houston at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium on Tuesday, October 22nd.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPNU to a national audience.

Tuesday’s contest will mark the Panthers’ first home game since Sept. 28 and the first of two consecutive nationally televised Tuesday night games at Pitbull Stadium.

FIU and Sam Houston meet for the second time on Tuesday night in Miami. The Panthers topped the Bearkats 33-27 in overtime in Huntsville, Texas, in the only previous game between the programs last season.

Matt Schumacker (play-by-play) and Dustin Fox (analyst) will be responsible for Tuesday night’s game on ESPNU.

The audio broadcast can be heard on The Panther Online Network with AJ Ricketts (play-by-play), Corey Brooks (analyst) and Billy Gil on the microphone.

The pregame show on The Panther Online Network begins 15 minutes before kickoff and a postgame show follows the conclusion of the contest.
