Report: Call of Duty 2025 to continue Black Ops storyline via focus group meeting

While Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 isn’t even out yet, details about next year’s Call of Duty game appear to have reportedly been leaked via a focus group meeting.

It appears that a participant managed to sneak in an image of the Call of Duty 2025 presentation, which has since been compiled by Fumo Leaks.

Here’s a rundown of the information revealed:

CAMPAIGN -The campaign is a black ops story set in 2035! This time the protagonist is David Mason (Black Ops 2). The game is more of an espionage theme, with information warfare being a central focus.

HUMAN SHIELDS – As stated in the picture of the meeting that I attached to the first tweet, the multiplayer mode will retain the meat shield mechanic! Grenades can now be stuck to human shields. You can also bounce bodies back at enemies!

OMNIMOTION – Omnimovement returns in 2025! You can now do a little wall jump to give your enemies an advantage! New animations are being added to make the experience even smoother!

MULTIPLAYER – Multiplayer features the return of classic maps and modes for the Black Ops franchise! Uplink returns! The same goes for Face Off and the new-gen classic Gunfight! Perks are now shared with the new Connected Perks mechanic!

ZOMBIES

In 2025 the focus will be on turn-based games. RBZ will have one of the greatest maps of all time in this game. To compensate, there will be a transport system like Tranzit that will allow you to move around the map.

Zombies will also have an 8 player mode! This may be related to the leaked mourning strings, as a CLASSIC MODE was also directly mentioned there! You spawn with a pistol, have to craft your armor and hit the walls and crate to get new weapons!

Modes like Outbreak and MWZ will likely no longer appear due to their issues with the community. As I said before, turn-based gaming is coming back into the spotlight.

Reliable leaker Tom Henderson also confirmed the information, and another reliable leaker, who did not wish to be named, also told us that the information shared was legitimate. Additionally, this lines up with our August report where data confirms that the next Call of Duty game will once again be set in the Black Ops universe.

Of course, as with any game well ahead of release, you have to expect things to change. Even in focus test groups, it is not 100% confirmed that everything shown/mentioned is included in the project.

As for this year’s Call of Duty game, Black Ops 6 will be released on consoles and PC next week on October 25th, although not officially in Kuwait.
