Tom Holland’s history of spoiling his Marvel film projects is a long one. In 2016, during production on Spider-Man: Homecoming, Holland told fans in a live Facebook Q&A about a scene they shot in Homecoming that involved helicopter harnesses and a lake dive for his stunt double . This turned out to be the first fight between Spider-Man (Holland) and The Vulture (Michael Keaton), with Peter Parker thrown into a lake by the flying villain. A year later, shortly before the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Holland bluntly confirmed that the new MCU Spider-Man films would be a trilogy.

As Holland’s Spider-Man became a groundbreaking character, Marvel Studios included him in their grand two-part finale to the Infinity Saga. Avengers: Infinity War And Avengers: Endgame. Holland proved to be a nightmare for Marvel PR: Months after the release of Homecoming, Holland posted a live unboxing on Instagram of a gift from Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo that included a first print of the film Avengers: Infinity War Poster that Holland shouldn’t betray everyone. The next year (2018), the large cast of Infinity War held media events around the world to promote the film. Screenwriter Stephen McFeely gave Holland the wrong tip about an event by leading the actor to believe it took place after a premiere screening of Infinity War – which resulted in Holland taking the stage and shouting “I’m alive!” and spoiling his death scene as Spider-Man before release day.

Explodes Infinity Wars The big twist ending didn’t teach Tom Holland to get better: during the promotional tour for Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Holland almost stumbled over his words and almost revealed that there would be more than one Spider-Man in the film – and his friend Zendaya had to stop him from mentioning who bought Avengers Tower after Homecoming – an MCU -Secret that still exists to this day.

Spider-Man and Venom could finally meet.

Now it’s 2024 and it seems like Tom Holland has finally upped his game as the human safe. Tony Stark would be proud of his protégé (if he were still alive). However, the news that Holland was informed that RDJ would be Doom – and the recent non-spoiler that a Spider-Man 4 script has hyped him and Zendaya (Venom? Miles Morales?) – leaves us wondering , whether the big plans are cumbersome The Spider-Man and Doom meeting is not yet planned.

Avengers: End of the World has a release date of May 1, 2026. Spider Man 4 is under development.
