Okaloosa County kindergarten students will receive free lunch for three days

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – Nutrition Group and Okaloosa School Food Services have announced a special dining event for all kindergarten students. For three days, October 23-25, kindergarten students will enjoy free lunch every day.

Officials say this event aims to introduce young students to healthy eating habits and the fun of school lunch.

“We encourage all kindergarten families to take advantage of this opportunity,” said Stephen Anderson, food services program director. “Nutrition Group food vendors sponsor the event and it is a great way for students to discover nutritious meals in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.”
