FKA Twigs Perfect Stranger music video release stream

FKA Twigs has released the music video for “Perfect Stranger,” the second single from her upcoming LP Eusexua. Twigs continues to charge forward with another dance-forward track, this time professing unconditional love for the “perfect stranger.”

The London-based experimental alt-pop artist sums it up with the opening lyric: “I don’t know the name of the city you come from, your star sign, or the school you failed at. “I don’t know and I don’t care,” illustrating the moment Twigs is willing to risk everything just for this night.

Dry instrumentation and a heavy bassline create a sense of intimacy as the song builds to the hook that proclaims, “You’re beautiful, you’re worth it.” You’re the best and you deserve it. You are a stranger, therefore you are perfect,” a radical affirmation of her variable stranger.

Showcasing a kaleidoscope of looks, the video features twigs in a spectrum of vignettes with various collaborators, including British avant-garde designer MOWALOLA and alternative rock artist Yves Tumor. Twigs goes through major changes from scene to scene; Sometimes in a sexy latex ensemble and high ponytail, sometimes in a motherly role in a cozy domestic scene.
