Two of the best collegiate equestrian teams in the country compete on Friday as Georgia hosts SMU.

Both teams began their seasons in late September with narrow losses to top-ranked TCU. Three weeks later, the sixth-ranked Bulldogs return to action with back-to-back meetings against No. 4 SMU and No. 2 Texas A&M. The Aggies beat the Mustangs two weeks ago, so SMU was still hoping for its first win but came into this matchup battle-tested.

It should be another close affair between two-time defending National Collegiate Equestrian Association champions the Mustangs and the school with the most NCEA titles, seven-time champion Georgia.
