The Canby Beer Library is open for drinking – New School Beer + Cider

Half of Canby Library’s 5,000-square-foot taproom is dedicated to Oregon City’s barrel-aging program, ensuring a natural layout of barrels dividing the space. The Funky Sour program will now have its own section, and there are plans to add stainless steel mixing tanks and possibly oak barrels in the future.

After a standout performance at the Great American Beer Festival, Oregon City Brewing will offer over a dozen award-winning beers on tap at the grand opening. These include: 2024 GABF Gold Medal winners Doc McLoughlin and My Cerise Amour; Beast of Burton; The Barrel of the Beast; Bearing fruit: cherry; Dark ‘Vator; It’s a trap!; Lilikoi No Ka`oi; OC light; Ancient Beauty; pipe dream; Strong lager; and temporary stairs.

Critically, this project was funded in part by the Oregon Business Development Department and the State Historic Preservation Office’s Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant, as well as the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
