The warming trend begins Friday through the weekend

FRIDAY: Another cool start – but plenty of sunshine should help our temperatures climb back towards the lower 70s from the 30s to 40s in the afternoon hours. A few clouds may creep into the sky late tonight to round out the work and school week as temperatures drop into the 40s to start the weekend.

WEEKEND PLANNER: A few passing clouds early Saturday will bring more sunshine throughout the day. Expect morning 40s to give way to the mid 70s during the afternoon hours. Our high and dry pattern will continue into Sunday with a slight increase approaching the mid to upper 70s in the afternoon after a start in the mid to upper 40s.

ADVANCED FORECAST: Our warming trend will continue into early next week; with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s under mostly to partly sunny skies. A passing shower cannot be ruled out, generally north of Memphis late Tuesday – but most will remain dry. Highs in the low to mid 80s on Wednesday will fall back into the mid to upper 70s by the end of the week.
