Real images of the OnePlus 13 will be released ahead of its launch on October 21st

The OnePlus 13 is set to launch in China this Monday, but ahead of its official debut, renders of the smartphone have leaked online. Real images of the device have surfaced on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter (now X), giving us a glimpse of its design. The phone is expected to launch with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite processor that offers top-notch performance. In addition to this powerful chipset, it is also rumored to have an impressive camera setup, making it a strong contender in the flagship market. The leaks caused considerable excitement in the run-up to the official unveiling.

According to the images leaked on Weibo by Digital Chat Station, the design of the OnePlus 13 has undergone a subtle but notable change. The camera setup no longer fits into the frame of the phone like it did in previous models. Instead, it now takes the form of a standalone circle positioned on the left side of the back of the phone. Another change is the relocation of the Hasselblad logo, which is no longer part of the camera island. It has been moved to the right side of the camera and sits above a thin decorative metal strip. This tweak gives the phone a cleaner, more minimalist look.

Expected specifications of the OnePlus 13

The OnePlus 13 will feature significant improvements over the OnePlus 12. One of the most talked about features of the OnePlus 13 is its processor. It is rumored to be one of the first smartphones to launch with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is expected to be officially unveiled during Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit on October 22nd. Previously called Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is set to bring significant improvements in performance and power efficiency thanks to its new Oryon cores.

This new chip is designed to make the OnePlus 13 faster, smoother, and more power efficient, which is perfect for users who rely on their phone for heavy multitasking, gaming, and other high-performance tasks. OnePlus could even beat its competitors like Xiaomi and Oppo by being the first to launch a phone equipped with this chipset.

OnePlus is known for pushing the boundaries of battery life and charging speed, and the OnePlus 13 is likely to continue that trend. According to rumors, the device will come with a huge 6,000mAh battery – a big improvement over the 5,400mAh battery in OnePlus’ previous model. For users who are constantly on the move, this could result in longer usage times.

In terms of charging, the OnePlus 13 is expected to support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging to ensure your phone boots quickly and efficiently. Whether you use a wired or wireless charger, you won’t have to wait long before you can use your device again.
