Polish YouTuber Karolina Goswami accompanies security forces after threats from Dhruv Rathee fans. Viral Video | On trend

According to reports, Karolina Goswami had received over 220 threats from Dhruv Rathee fans in May. The threats came after she analyzed Rathee’s YouTube videos in which she claimed to expose his “anti-India propaganda”.

In videos posted on her own YouTube channel ‘India in Details’, Goswami had criticized Germany-based Dhruv Rathee for publishing fake news and called for a ban on his social media channels. Dhruv Rathee fans apparently made threats against Goswami and her family over her videos.

Goswami and her husband claim they were also attacked by Rathee fans in Germany last year. These fans destroyed their car and took their devices during the attack in 2023.

“We will continue to live in India,” the Polish YouTuber said in her now-viral Instagram video shared two days ago. The clip shows her, accompanied by security guards, taking a walk with her family.

In May, Goswami had appealed to the Indian government to provide her security following threats she had received. She also shared screenshots of the rape threats she received through her videos.

“My family and I have experienced more than 220 threats and we can’t take it anymore,” she said. However, the Polish YouTuber received no response from the government.

In her social media posts over the past few weeks, she reiterated that she will continue to live and work in India. However, the YouTuber announced that she and her family would not settle in one city but would continue to move across the country.
