Great Thursday on the road with autumnal flair!

Great Thursday on the road with autumnal flair!

CENTRAL TEXAS – High temperatures will climb into the mid-70s this afternoon with mostly sunny skies. Expect a warming trend to take hold over the weekend.

THE DISTRIBUTION:

  • Autumnal weather will prevail today with highs in the mid-70s.
  • Another cool morning on Friday before the warning trend kicks in this weekend.
  • The chance of rain remains dry.

We’re seeing the coolest air we’ve seen since April this morning as lows dropped below 40 degrees! Temperatures will climb back into the 70s today under mostly sunny skies. We’ll have another morning in the 40s on Friday before a warming trend kicks in this weekend, pushing morning lows back into the mid 50s and afternoon highs into the mid 80s as southeasterly winds bring warmer, wetter air into ours transport region.
A high low will form over New Mexico this weekend, accumulating moisture. However, the moisture corridor will be initially to the south and then to the west, keeping us from good rain chances. We will see an increase in cloud cover, but that’s about it!

As we begin next week, high pressure will take over the job of drying us out and warming us back up, closer to the upper 80s and lower 90s.

Have a great Thursday!
