Videos Show Suspect in Stolen Car, Lead Fairfield Police on Chase: PD

The incident began with an armed carjacking in Bridgeport on Sept. 26, and on Oct. 3, Wilton police discovered the stolen Mazda crashing into a police cruiser.

The suspects, Bridgeport residents Dominique Adrian Reid, 26, and Elijah Holloman, 21, eluded authorities in the Mazda that morning until Fairfield police found them heading north on Merritt Parkway near Exit 46 discovered.

That led to police pursuing the pair to Exit 51, where officers attempted to flatten the Mazda’s tires before it turned around and headed the wrong way back onto the highway.

According to Fairfield police, the vehicle shortly afterwards collided with a vehicle containing a family of five, but no one was seriously injured.

A Fairfield Police K9 was called to track down the suspects, who jumped out of the wrecked, stolen vehicle and fled on foot.

According to authorities, Holloman was quickly apprehended, and Reid was caught a few hours later trying to save Holloman.

The two were arrested on multiple charges, including theft of a motor vehicle and obstructing an officer.
