Life Time announces prize money for the 2025 editions of UNBOUND Gravel 200, Leadville Trail 100 MTB and Big Sugar Gravel

Prize money and points system for the Grand Prix 2025 presented for the new best-five-of-six format

CHANHASSEN, Minn., Oct 17, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Following the announcement of the 2025 racing lineup last week, Life Time (NYSE: LTH), the nation’s leading healthy lifestyle brand and sporting event producer, has unveiled record prize money that includes the Life Time Grand Prix as well as three new overall prizes for individual races.

Expanded prize money

The total prize money on offer at the 2025 Series events is: $380,000. The prize money is divided as follows:

  • $200,000 is dedicated to the fourth edition of the Life Time Grand Prix, the leading professional off-road cycling series in the United Stateswhich attracts athletes and fans from all over the world. It will be divided equally between the top ten male and top ten female athletes, who will form the overall ranking at the end of the series.
  • $180,000 are awarded at the six stand-alone events throughout the season, with each race offered $30,000. Prize money will be awarded to the top five men and women in each event, regardless of whether they compete in the Life Time Grand Prix.

2025 will be the first time that UNBOUND Gravel 200, Leadville Trail 100 MTB and Big Sugar Gravel will award prize money. Sea Otter Classic, Chequamegon MTB and Little Sugar MTB, which previously awarded prize money, will be adjusted $30,000.

The best five out of six points

The Point system For the Life Time Grand Prix 2025 the same remains as for the 2024 series – but scaled to the new field size. After the fourth event in the series, each athlete’s lowest individual score is eliminated and the best five of six results now count towards the final standings.

Following the Life Time UNBOUND Gravel 200, the leaderboard will be updated to remove all athletes who are eliminated from the series and to include the results of select wildcard athletes for the Life Time Sea Otter Classic Gravel presented by Continental and Life Time UNBOUND Gravel 200 .
