Findlay police arrest a man suspected of multiple burglaries

FINDLAY, Ohio (WTVG) – Findlay police have arrested a man suspected of multiple burglaries after surveillance of his home and a foot chase.

On Thursday, Findlay Police plainclothes units conducted surveillance at a home on SR 12. Jeffrey Dahms, the resident, was a suspect in several commercial burglaries.

During surveillance, Dahms drove away from his home at a high rate of speed. Units monitoring the home followed until the suspect’s vehicle developed a flat tire. The officers then arrested Dahms.

After the arrest, officers obtained an arrest warrant and searched Dahm’s apartment. During the search, they found several items that could serve as evidence.

Dahms was charged with two counts of burglary.
