U2 releases behind-the-scenes look at “Vertigo” video on Friday – KSHE 95

U2 takes a look back to 2004 and celebrates the 20th anniversary of their album How to dismantle a nuclear bomb with a look at the video for the album’s first single, “Vertigo.”

The band announced They will release a behind-the-scenes video on Friday detailing the making of the song’s music video.

The video for “Vertigo,” directed by the team at Alex & Martinwas filmed in Spain and the band performed in the desert. It won a Grammy in 2005 for Best Short Form Music Video.

U2 is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of How to dismantle a nuclear bomb with the release of a so-called “shadow album” containing songs from the original album’s recording sessions. Synchronized How to Reassemble a Nuclear Bomb, The album contains 10 previously unreleased tracks from the band’s archive. It will be released on November 29th exclusively for Record Store Day Black Friday along with a digital release.

Additionally, U2 will release a special 20th anniversary remastered edition on November 22nd How to dismantle a nuclear bombwith the bonus track “Fast Car” as well as a package with the remaster and the Shadow album together, dubbed How to Disassemble a Nuclear Bomb (Re-Assemble Edition).
