Did BTS’s Jin Leak a Spoiler During J-Hope’s Military Discharge?

Here come the fan theories.

On October 17th BTS‘S Jin welcomed J Hope home from his compulsory service. Although their reunion had many memorable moments, one particular detail is now sparking fan theories.

Like a K-drama CEO, Jin appeared stylish, dressed in a striking burgundy suit and statement sunglasses. However, his outfit paled in comparison to that huge bouquet of flowers.

The size of the bouquet isn’t all that surprising considering Jin has given his members flashy – and often unusual – gifts in the past. But the size of the bouquet and Jin’s thoughtfulness aren’t the only reasons the bouquet attracts attention. Some sharp-eyed ARMYs quickly made a connection that would likely be missed by the general public.

The blue flowers in Jin’s bouquet closely resemble the Smeraldo flower. These fictional flowers from the BTS fictional universe first bloomed during the BTS era HYYH era and have since become an important symbol in the BTS universe.

Two years after the last post, Smeraldo Flower’s Instagram account unexpectedly published this story on October 16th.

At the time, some armies theorized that the story of the Smeraldo Blossom could be related to Jin’s upcoming meeting Happy Solo album or a BTS group comeback. This happened not long before J-Hope’s discharge from the military.

Given the timing, Jin could be the customer Smeraldo Flower Shop pointed out. If so, was his purchase just related to J-Hope’s return from the military or does it indicate a new project? A Jin and J-Hope HYYHMaybe a thematic collaboration?
