Free glow-in-the-dark spider project for kids during Hannibal’s Main Street Trick or Treat

This Halloween, kids can take part in a free glow-in-the-dark spider project during the Main Street Trick or Treat event in downtown Hannibal.

The Hannibal Arts Council is offering a free activity for youth K-5 starting at 5 p.m. Class until supplies run out on Thursday, October 31st.

The event corresponds with the Historic Hannibal Marketing Council’s Main Street Trick or Treat event in downtown Hannibal.

Stop by the Hannibal Arts Council at 105 S. Main Street to create the project and pick up some candy.

The spooky spider is a quick creative project using glow-in-the-dark pony beads and chenille stems. The stop will be worth it as participants will also enjoy the trick-or-treating event. All materials for the project are provided.

Participants can simply drop by. Reservations are not required or required.

Program sponsors helping to ensure the project is free for all include the George H. Riedel Private Foundation, General Mills Hometown Grant Program, Community Foundation of West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri, Missouri Arts Council, HAC Program Scholarship Donors and the Jesse David Cox Memorial Fund.
