Warner’s The Day the Earth Exploded: A Looney Tunes Movie will be released in the US in February

Here’s some great news for Looney Tunes fans. Ketchup Entertainment is released The Day the Earth Exploded: A Looney Tunes Movie in select U.S. theaters on February 28th. The critically acclaimed film from Warner Bros. Animation had its world premiere to sold-out audiences at the prestigious Annecy International Animation Film Festival in early June this year. Led by Peter Browngardt (Looney Tunes cartoons, Uncle Grandpa), the film will have its North American premiere this Friday (October 18) at the Animation Is Film Festival in Los Angeles.

The Day the Earth Exploded: A Looney Tunes Movie features beloved comedic duo Porky Pig and Daffy Duck as unlikely heroes who become the planet’s only hope in the face of the threat of an alien invasion. The animated sci-fi comedy-adventure is described as “a richly crafted story told on an out-of-this-world scale, with all the witty gags, vibrant visuals and beloved characters that characterize the Looney Tunes “Iconic.” It contains the voices of renowned actors Eric Bauza (as Daffy and Porky), Candi Milo (Petunia Pig), Peter MacNicol, Wayne Knight And Laraine Newman.

Animation, The Day the Earth Exploded: A Looney Tunes Movie Directed by Pete Browngardt, the screenplay was written by Darrick Bachman, Pete Browngardt, Kevin Costello, Andrew Dickman, David Gemmill, Alex Kirwan, Ryan Kramer, Jason Reicher, Michael Ruocco, Johnny Ryan and Eddie Trigueros. Sam Register and Pete Browngardt serve as executive producers, Alex Kirwan as supervising producer, Michal Baum as line producer, Nick Cross as art director and Aaron Spurgeon as production designer.
