Amber Hoye, Director of the World Languages ​​Resource Center, presented two sessions at the 2024 Open Education Conference. In her first session: “What are you doing again? “Connecting the Dots from Your Role to Open Education,” co-presented with Abbey K. Elder, Shannon M. Smith, and Amanda Larson, the group shared strategies for integrating open education into diverse roles and championing its value within organizations and communities. Her second session, “An eBook of One’s Own: Creating Open ePortfolio Templates,” co-presented with Terry Greene, focused on developing accessible, openly licensed ePortfolio templates that empower students of all levels of digital literacy should present their work confidently. Both sessions focused on promoting open education and improving inclusion in educational practice.
