When is the Medicare open enrollment period?

Every year is the open enrollment period for Medicare October 15th – December 7th.

What is the Medicare Open Enrollment Period?

Medicare health and drug plans may make changes every year – for example, in costs, coverage, and the providers and pharmacies in their network. From October 15 through December 7, all Medicare recipients will be able to change their Medicare health insurance and prescription drug coverage for the following year to better meet their needs.

How do people know if they need to change their plans?

People with a Medicare health or prescription drug plan should always review the materials their plans send them, such as: B. the “Evidence of Coverage” (EOC) and the “Annual Notice of Change” (ANOC). If their plans change, they should ensure that their plans continue to meet their needs for the following year. If they are confident that their current plans will meet their needs for next year and the offer will continue to be offered, they do not need to take any action.
