Cold start, nice finish

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – As expected, temperatures will start predominantly at over 40°C across the entire viewing area. We will experience a few cool nights on the way.

FIRST ALARM PREDICTION: Thursday October 17th(WAFB)

Thursday will be fine, sunny and dry, with high temperatures only in the lower to mid 70s. It won’t be windy today so there will be no warning.

Did you see the full supermoon last night? If not, don’t worry, you still have a chance tonight as the peak lighting time is this morning.

Humidity remains low over the next few days and the chance of rain is zero, but we will see an increase in dew points next week with warmer temperatures.

As for the tropics, we still have two separate areas that we monitor, but neither seems to be showing signs of development.

As the weather progresses, there is still no chance of rain and plenty of sunshine.
