Another chilly night; The warming trend begins tomorrow afternoon

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Hello everyone! Not much has changed in yesterday’s forecast. Temperatures will drop into the high 30s tonight. The good news is we’re staying out of the low to mid 30s so we don’t have to expect any patchy frost.

The warming trend begins tomorrow afternoon as temperatures rise to the upper 70s. The warming trend will continue into the weekend with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the low to mid 50s. There will be a storm system over the Four Corners region this weekend that will produce scattered showers, particularly in our western areas. Unfortunately, the storm system will extend well north of southwest Oklahoma, so there is a good chance of rain north of our area. However, the best chance of rain will be on Monday as the storm system retreats from the Four Corners region.

The middle of next week looks hot and dry for this time of year (highs near 90).
