Sports calendar: 18th – 27th October 2024

Cross Country: Northwest Conference Championships
3:20 p.m., Wednesday, October 23 at Civic Stadium

Northwest Conference cross country teams open the 2024 fall sports postseason with a race at Civic Stadium. This will be the second time these teams have competed at the stadium and will also compete at the Gear Up Northwest Preview in September. Several runners will be on their way to a state title.

WWU Men’s Basketball Blue-White Scrimmage
1 p.m., Sunday, October 20th at Carver Gym

The men’s basketball team begins the preseason with a matchup between teams on their home court. The freshmen will showcase their talent for the first time, while the seniors will compete in their final matchup before the start of the 2024-25 season.

Howl-o-ween Downtown Dog Parade
12-3 p.m., Sunday, October 27, downtown Bellingham

Howl-o-ween will be full of costumed dogs and feature music by the Mighty Bayou Opposums, costume contests, a photo booth, dog biscuits, trick-and-treating and dog trivia. Proceeds go to Shadow’s Forever Friends.
