Information from Eastridge Church

This Thanksgiving, for the 21st consecutive year, Eastridge Church is giving away 1,500 turkeys and bags of groceries to those in the community who need a little help putting a holiday meal on the table. To Saturday November 23rdStarting at 9 a.m. (while supplies last), the church will distribute the 1,500 free Thanksgiving turkeys and bags of groceries to those in need in its two locations: Issaquah and Seattle.

The 1,500 free meal kits include all the elements of a traditional Thanksgiving meal, not just filling the gap for one meal. “Eastridge’s Annual Turkey Sweepstakes doesn’t just provide a meal for one person. Because it has all the ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal, it actually feeds an entire family,” said Steve Jamison, senior pastor of Eastridge Church. “We love reaching out to the community through our annual turkey raffle because we can meet the physical needs of so many people and promote community, friendship and family.”

The 1,500 dinner packages will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with no proof of need required to receive assistance.
