Yuki Kawamura dreams of every Memphis Grizzlies basket player, but he’s undoubtedly aware that the clock could run out and the moment could suddenly disappear from between his eyes.

“Every day is a trial training session. I can get cut anytime.” Kawamura said about the Olympics. “I must not slack off at all; I have to prove to my teammates and the coaching staff that I can play.”

Yuki has worked his way up to this point to finally make it to the Association, but the hustle and bustle still hasn’t stopped for the 23-year-old.

As unique as it may be to earn a chance, that doesn’t guarantee Yuki a permanent spot in the NBA. Under the terms of an E10 contract, he still needs to impress the team and convince the Grizzlies to convert him to a two-way contract.
