Liam Payne’s final Snapchat videos with his girlfriend hours before his death

Liam Payne’s fans were stunned by the news of his untimely death at the age of 31, especially because he had posted on social media less than an hour before his death. The former One Direction member reportedly “fell” from the third floor of his hotel balcony in Buenos Aries on Wednesday afternoon local time.

Liam spent time with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy in Argentina and shared a series of videos throughout the day documenting his trip. In a video, he said that he and his partner “enjoyed coffee and breakfast even though it’s only 1pm.”

“Good morning everyone. Here’s a little video of me,” he said. “It’s a beautiful day here in Argentina.”

“We literally sleep in until at least 12 every day, we’re such losers,” Kate joked offscreen.

The Take this off Hitmaker also released a clip detailing how he and Kate planned to spend the day together.

“Today we ride!” he shared. “We’re going to ride some horses. I think I’ll be playing polo again, which will keep me out of action for about six weeks.”

In another video, the couple could be seen smiling and posing for the camera with the caption: “Quality Time 🥰”

“Glad I had some time ❤️,” he captioned another photo.

He also sent his well wishes to those affected by Hurricane Milton in Florida and said he was looking forward to returning home to see his dog, Nala.

“By the way, I hope everyone in Milton was well. It was scary watching it from a distance. I hope all the little dogs and everything else came out too, because there were some pretty sad stories about dogs,” he said. “Of course we go home and see our dog Nala.”

Liam was in South America on October 2nd and attended his former band member Niall Horan’s concert with his girlfriend Kate. He posted a video on Snapchat saying he was attending the concert because he wanted to “work some things out” with the Irish singer.

“I think we could just go and say hello,” he said. “It’s been a while since me and Niall have spoken. We have a lot to discuss. And I’d like to clear a few things up with the boy. No bad vibes or anything like that. But we just have to talk.”

Fans captured videos of Liam singing and dancing along to Niall’s performance from his box at the Movistar Arena. He later posted selfies of himself and Niall on Snapchat with the caption: “Reunited ❤️.”

Liam’s last Instagram post

While he was active on Snapchat the day of his death, Liam’s last post on Instagram was shared on May 29 as a tribute to Morgan Spurlock, who directed One Direction’s 2013 concert film One Direction: This Is Us.

He shared a photo of himself and his One Direction members with Morgan at the film’s New York premiere with the caption: “Rest in peace Morgan Spurlock, it was a pleasure working with you ❤️”

The documentary filmmaker, author and television producer died at the age of 53 as a result of cancer.
