First Aid/CPR/AED course at Philomath Fire and Rescue

Philomath Fire and Rescue will host first aid, CPR and AED training events at Station 201 on September 21, October 19 and November 16. Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a video-based, instructor-led, classroom-based course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to a first aid, choking, or sudden emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive Respond to and manage a cardiac arrest emergency. In this course, students learn skills such as treating bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aid emergencies. In this course you will also learn CPR and AED use for adults. Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid, CPR and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.
