Valley News – Good Neighbor hosts free vaccination clinic in White River Junction

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION – The Good Neighbor Health Clinic is offering a free drive-thru and walk-up vaccination clinic on Saturday.

The clinic will be held Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 70 North Main Street in White River Junction.

The event is open to adults 18 and older and there will be limited vaccine doses, so the clinic says the event will be held on a “first come, first served basis.”

Vaccines available include: flu, high-dose flu for adults over 65, RSV, Shingrix, which protects against shingles; hepatitis A and B; pneumococcus, which protects against bacteria that cause pneumonia, meningitis and sepsis; and Tdap, which protects against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis, or whooping cough.

Community members are also encouraged to donate non-perishable, non-expired food items to the clinic’s patient pantry. Donations can be dropped off at the North Main Street location through Saturday.

The Good Neighbor Health Clinic is a non-profit organization that provides free medical and dental services to those who are uninsured or “under-insured” within 30 miles of the clinic.
