The Lindenwood football team (3-4, 2-1 BS/OVC) looks to continue its winning ways this weekend, taking on Gardner-Webb (1-5, 0-2 BS/OVC) at Spangler at 12:30 p.m. CT Stadium in Boiling Springs, NC

Last Saturday, the Lions earned a 29-14 win at home against Charleston Southern. Lindenwood controlled the game on the ground and ran for 240 yards, the team’s second-highest total this season. As a result, the Black and Gold had the ball 40:25, over 20 minutes more than the Buccaneers. Cortez Jones found the end zone twice in the win. The Lions have rushed for 170 or more yards in the last four games and are averaging 163.7 yards per game on the ground this season, second-most in the Big South OVC.
