Gastonia Baseball Club announces new team name

GASTONIA, NC (WBTV) – The Gastonia Baseball Club will announce its new team name on Wednesday, October 16th.

The announcement will take place at 7 p.m. on the field at CaroMont Health Park. The team’s new name was chosen by a fan vote.

Throughout the season, the team temporarily used eight different names, all of which were considered for permanent use. These decisions were:

The team competes in Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB).
