Does the Apple App Store not allow you to download apps? Live updates on the apparent App Store outage

Just a day after the launch of a new iPad mini, there appear to be some problems in Apple’s App Store. We’re tracking a number of reported download issues on social networks like Threads and X (formerly Twitter) and testing it ourselves.

While you can still browse the App Store and search for applications, the problem arises when you try to download an application as the store usually cancels the process without any explanation. That’s the case with me and TechRadar Editor-in-Chief Lance Ulanoff, both of whom are trying to download various apps on iPhones.
