All Faiths Food Bank hosts free event with Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – All Faiths Food Bank partnered with the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee to host a pop-up food distribution for hurricane relief.

Relief efforts will be held at the Jewish Federation campus, 580 McIntosh Rd, Sarasota, on Sunday, October 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residents in need of groceries are welcome to stop by and receive a variety of groceries including bottled water, meat, fruits and vegetables, and non-perishable foods.

In addition, the Jewish Federation will distribute Amazon gift cards to people on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event is open to the public – everyone in need is welcome to take part.

“We want area families suffering from the effects of the storms to know that we are here for them,” said Nelle S. Miller, president and CEO of All Faiths Food Bank. “We are proud to stand with the Jewish Federation to help community members in need as they work tirelessly to get back on their feet and return their lives to normality.
