Will Davante Adams play this week?

Adams is expected to play this week when the Jets play the Steelers, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. He missed each of the Raiders’ last three games because of ongoing hamstring problems, although the absences may have been partly a precautionary measure for an impending trade.

According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, Adams arrived at the Jets’ facilities almost immediately following reports of the trade. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Adams had to catch a flight to New Jersey late Monday, and the trade was completed Tuesday after Adams passed a physical exam.

Initially, Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich told reporters, “It’s too early to assess” whether Adams will be available to play in Week 7.
