Cold mornings ahead, but a warmer trend in the afternoon

Today is the last day of this week with high temperatures above 50°. A warming trend will begin over the next few days, with highs eventually reaching the low 70s by the weekend. A light breeze from the north will make temperatures feel a little cooler.

Temperatures will begin to drop significantly overnight with clear skies. In fact, some of you will have temperatures below freezing as the day begins tomorrow morning. If not, you’re close to the top and definitely need to bundle up when you head out.

With sunshine and less northerly wind, temperatures will quickly rise back to the 60s tomorrow.

This warming trend will then continue into the 70s through Saturday. There is also a lot of sunshine on all these days.
