The Nothing Phone 2a Community Edition teaser hints at a feature you would never expect

The Phone 2a came onto the market in March and offers Nothing fans a new mid-range device to start with. Around the same time, the company launched a community project asking members to help design a Phone 2a Community Edition. We are now close to launching this Community Edition device.

On The teaser is for the Phone 2a Community Edition and the unusual green glow indicates a unique feature of the device.

If you visit Nothing’s website you can get a preview of the soon-to-be-announced handset. The website details each phase of development that the community helped with, including design, wallpaper, packaging and marketing.

As for the device, it looks like a regular Phone 2a. What sets the Community Edition apart from the normal Phone 2a, however, is the glow-in-the-dark back. You’ll also notice that the device gets new wallpapers and a redesigned packaging that highlights the neon green hue of the device.

The marketing should also point out the difference between this model and the normal Phone 2a. Although the website seems to make it pretty clear what we’ll be getting, it’s important to note that there’s a chance Nothing could make slight changes before release.
