Michael Cooper – Your acceptance speech was the highlight of tonight! I am so proud of you and everything you stand for, both as a basketball player and as a person! I was so happy to be one of the three people who helped you get inducted into the Hall of Fame, along with Coach Pat Riley and Lisa Leslie!

I also have to commend Jonnie West for excellently representing not only his father, the late and great Jerry West, but also his entire family. It was an honor to induct Jerry West, along with my Laker family, into his record-breaking 3rd Hall of Fame class!”

Johnson and Cooper were teammates for 11 seasons.

They were part of one of the most famous dynasties in sports history.
