Amon-Ra St. Brown posts Dallas Cowboys player’s Instagram message after Detroit Lions win

Detroit Lions Wide receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown leaked a message from Dallas Cowboys Cornerback Jourdan Lewis after the overwhelming victory on Sunday. St. Brown, who previously starred USCand Lewis, who hails from Michiganhave beef that has leaked onto social media.

“You are a dirty word,” Lewis wrote in a direct message to St. Brown that was made public on Instagram stories.

“That was between me and him. He decided to show the world,” Lewis wrote in response, but did not mention St. Brown by name.

One of Lewis’ followers commented on the tweet saying he needed to “let it go,” and the Cowboys defenseman replied, “You’re absolutely right,” before ending the conversation.

The rivalry between the two and St. Brown goes back several years He almost came to Michigan as a prep superstar. In his fourth year with the Lions, St. Brown gained prominence as a five-star member of the 2018 recruiting class. The Anaheim, Calif., Mater Dei native was the No. 10 overall player in the cycle and he was the second-best wide receiver in the country when he signed with the Trojans.

“I was on an official visit to Michigan.” St. Brown said on CBS Sports HQ earlier this season. “I only made three official visits. It was Michigan Notre Dame and U.S.C. Went to Michigan, took the civil service my senior year, talked to Harbaugh and everyone. I loved school. Obviously they were a good football program. Good business school – something I wanted to study in college, which I did when I went to USC. But they had a business school. Everything I really wanted.

“It was just a long way from home. And when I went to the official, they were actually beaten. They lost.” Michigan State in a rainy, rainy game. He recorded seven catches for 98 yards and a touchdown in his debut, and later in the first month of his first season, he rushed for a whopping 167 yards in a high-profile showdown against Texas.

St. Brown finished the 2018 season as one of the most productive true freshmen in the country.

St. Brown had a career year in 2019, amassing 1,042 yards, and set a personal best in the touchdown department the following year with seven scores in just six games. That productivity helped St. Brown develop his profile as an NFL prospect, and after a fourth-round selection in the 2021 draft, he secured two Pro Bowl berths and status as one of the league’s most reliable pass catchers.
