Amazon Prime members get one of the best games of all time for free

Prime Gaming offers all Amazon Prime members a collection of free PC games to download every month.

In total there are 27 free games this month including Bioshock Remastered – one of the best FPS titles of all time.

Prime Gaming is adding a huge selection of free PC games to download in October – and all of them will be free for Amazon Prime members.

With 27 to choose from, there is something for everyone, but my favorite is hands down Bioshock Remastered – the remastered version of one of the best first-person shooters of all time. In fact, it’s arguably one of the best games, period.

Originally published in 2007, Bioshock is a single-player FPS set in the 1960s in a steampunk style and introduced us to the art deco underwater city of Rapture. It was supposed to be a haven for the super-rich, but then disaster struck and it is now a dark, crumbling dystopia filled with deadly residents.

You must make your way through the halls and secrets while pumping yourself full of ability-enhancing chemicals. There are plenty of jump scares – not least when “Big Daddy” pops up every now and then – and that continues to this day. Not least thanks to the graphical improvements it received with the remastered version.

Bioshock Remastered is now available for download from Prime Gaming along with 11 other PC games. Another five will be added on October 17th, six on October 24th and the final five on Halloween, October 31st.
