Shockingly FREE! “Free First Fri-YAY” marks Halloween weekend with FOUR days of free bike rentals

Texas Health Resources and Fort Worth Bike Sharing are going for treats instead of tricks this Halloween, expanding their monthly free bike rental offer on the first Friday through Friday to a long weekend of free bike rides. Residents and visitors can pick up a classic or electric-assisted bike at more than 60 bike share stations in Fort Worth and cycle around the city completely free of charge. The program is designed to help people get moving and explore city parks and neighborhoods.

Shockingly free First Friday bike rentals are available from Thursday, October 31st to Sunday, November 3rd, 2024.

Riders can access the free passes by using promo code 92020APP in the BCycle app when renting a bike. Locations are listed on the station map on the Fort Worth Bike Sharing website. Bikes must be re-docked and checked out every two hours to avoid additional fees.

Cycling is a great way to relieve stress and lead an active lifestyle. With the Free First Fri-YAY pass, you can commute using Fort Worth’s bike paths, run errands, or simply explore the city’s trails. Additionally, riding in a group can help build bonds with friends and family. This is the fifth year Texas Health has supported Fort Worth Bike Sharing with free access once a month through its Texas Health Community Hope initiatives. Since its launch in 2020, Free First Fri-YAY has provided more than 2,200 free all-day tickets.
