Film, big band swing music as part of a free concert

The Pitt-Greensburg Chorale and Chamber Singers, together with the Campana Consort, are hosting a choir café for fans of film music, musicals, doo wop and big band swing music on Wednesday from 7 p.m

Audiences are asked to arrive at 6:30 p.m. for the free event to enjoy light coffee service and dessert in the lobby of the Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Center – along with several small group performances in the lobby pre-show .

The performances will then continue on the center stage from 7 p.m.

“It is a great social event that allows our audience to meet and chat with members of our choir,” said Chris Bartely, music director at Pitt-Greensburg. “We think they will like the music too. There are many different combinations within the group that show the different flavors of what the chorale can be.”
