AEROSMITH Bassist Tom Hamiltonis the new band Nearby enemies made its live debut last Friday night (October 11th) at the Eastside Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee. The video of the concert can be found below.

The 72-year-old musician joins the new group with his bass technician Trace Fosterwho plays the guitar Nearby enemies next to Peter Stroudplayed with that Sheryl Crow for 25 years. Nearby enemies‘ is a drummer Tony Brockwho had a band called THE BABIES and then played with it Rod Stewart for 12 years. In front Nearby enemies Is Chasen Hamptonan artist from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with a strong background in the country music scene. Nearby enemies also works with “a great copywriter.” Gary Taurus.

On September 27th Hamilton took to his account X (earlier Twitter) to share a photo of a Nearby enemies rehearsal and he added the following message: “Hey, I need to tell you about the name of a band I’m playing with Nearby enemies. We recorded a lot of good songs. We will publish one soon. In the meantime, we’re doing a show in Nashville on October 11th at a place called the Eastside Bowl. Please come!!”

In a recent interview with Guitar world, Hamilton said that he was “busy playing in a band we call.” Nearby enemies. We’ve recorded a bunch of killer songs and are close to deciding how we’re going to release them. I can barely wait for it!”

In a separate interview with AARP, Tom described Hampton as “a gifted singer who really brought the songs to life.”

“When I came along, these guys had worked out a lot of great songs and I was able to contribute what I had,” the bassist continued. “Hopefully when the time comes we will work out some others that I have had in the bag for a while. All of these guys are great musicians and it’s an honor and a challenge to be part of it all. I” I’m excited to see how people like it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

The members of AEROSMITH announced on August 2 that they were withdrawing from touring – almost a year after the singer Steven Tyler fractured his larynx during a show in September 2023.

The “Peace out” The tour was canceled after a final performance in Elmont, New York on September 9, 2023. This show took place just three dates into the journey, which was scheduled to last until February 2024. Tyler said in a statement at the time that the injury caused bleeding but that he hoped he and his AEROSMITH Bandmates would go back on tour after some shows were postponed.

Those postponed “Peace out” The tour was scheduled to begin September 20th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with special guests THE BLACK CROWS.

On Friday we went to Nashville on our day off to see Tom Hamilton from Aerosmith’s new band Close Enemies!

Legendary is associated with Tom and Brad Whitford, the guys who inspired us to form our band and start making music!

Great meeting Chasen and always have fun meeting Trace, Buck, Nobu and the Aero family along the way 🤘🏻
