The Jets (2-3) are back on American soil as they host the Bills (3-2) at MetLife Stadium on Monday night.

After last Sunday morning’s 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in London, it was an eventful week for Gang Green to say the least.

On Tuesday, Jets owner Woody Johnson fired head coach Robert Saleh and named defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich as interim coach for the remainder of this season.

Two days later, Ulbrich turned offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett’s duties over to Todd Downing, who serves as the team’s passing game coordinator.

The Jets now look to get back to .500 this season with a matchup against the Bills. Buffalo has struggled a lot in recent weeks, losing its last two games 58-30 to the Ravens and Texans after a hot 3-0 start.

This is the first of two meetings between these AFC East counterparts, with Gang Green traveling to Buffalo on December 29th in Week 17 in the penultimate game of the regular season.

Prediction: NY Jets vs. Bills

Bills 24, Jets 17: The urgency should be evident here as both teams are desperately trying to avoid a three-game losing streak with no break in sight as both don’t have a bye until Week 12. It depends on which offense you trust more at the moment, and for me it’s definitely the Bills, who emerged victorious against the Jets for the seventh time in the last nine meetings.
