The Museum of Illusions Philadelphia is offering free trick-or-treating October 28-31

This spooky season, the Museum of Illusions Philadelphia offers both tricks and treats as it transforms into spooky decorations and gives out free candy to guests.

The Optical Illusions Museum at 401 Market Street has added family-friendly Halloween elements to its everyday exhibits. Additionally, from Monday, October 28th through Thursday, October 31st, guests can get a head start on their trick-or-treating by picking up candy at the museum.

Trick-or-treaters can stop by the museum between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. and pick up free candy at the front desk. No ticket is required to claim your free candy. However, a ticket is required to enter the museum and see the spooky optical illusions and photo ops.

One of the installations with a Halloween makeover is the “head on a platter,” which creates the appearance of guests being served for dinner. Also redesigned for the season are the colorful, rotating “Vortex Tunnel” and the “Ames Room,” which makes people appear in completely different sizes.

Tickets for the Museum of Illusions can be purchased online. Prices start at $20 for children ages 5 to 12 and $25 for ages 13 and older. Admission can also be purchased at the box office at an increased price.
