The NFL season is a long and unrelenting grind that leads to almost every team trying to get out at some point and begging for a reprieve at some point. For a struggling Philadelphia Eagles team, that point came very early: After injuries to star players in the first month of the season and a Week 4 game that ended in a 33-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Eagles were back at it Luckily, they were able to get an early bye week, which allowed them to tend to their wounds, recover players from injuries and get the restart they needed.

That kind of help isn’t coming to the Cleveland Browns, no matter how much they need it. Not only is the Browns’ Week 10 bye not coming to save them, but they are currently a team in turmoil, sitting at 1-4 and boasting one of the worst offenses in the NFL. At the center of the discontent surrounding Cleveland’s offense is embattled quarterback Deshaun Watson, who is largely to blame for Cleveland’s 32nd-ranked offense due to another poor performance in the Browns’ 34-13 loss to the Washington Commanders, which put a strain on an otherwise strong defense.

The Browns won’t have long to figure out how to move the ball and get back on track, a task made even more difficult by the level of talent working their way back onto the field for Philadelphia. The Eagles tend to have star wide receiver tandem AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith back as well as All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson, bringing their star-studded roster closer to a whole and even for defenses as stout as that of Cleveland is much more difficult to handle.
